You may notice, in addition to talking about advisortech, I’ve also been meeting with several pros in the industry related to sales & marketing… and those meetings have led to some events I feel will be really helpful for you all (see upcoming event with Nancy Bleeke Noël below).

For example, yesterday I met with Bill Cates to talk about his new book: The Language of Referrals.

Lead gen and email marketing and blogging and youtube and SEO and content and COIs… it’s all good and helpful, but the data does show that referrals have the best ROI.

In fact, yesterday, I talked with a firm that doesn’t do any marketing (in their words), but all their new business comes from referrals.
