I appreciate what Joe and his co-founder have created with ProAdvisorSuite. I was an early subscriber and am already saving net dollars after the cost of my PAS membership. But it's not just about dollars and cents. Lots to cover today, but I wanted to start with this quote from Kendra Wright at the Future Proof Conference during the Organic Growth Tactics for Enhancing Your Conversion Funnel session:

Douglas Boneparth: (audience question) What is your most recommended strategy for advisory firms that you can give us today?

Kendra Wright: I would go borrow other people’s audiences.

You might have a great offer, and be great at sales, but if you don’t get your offer in front of enough people, it’s hard to grow. You could build your audience from scratch… or you could borrow an existing audience.

In this attention economy, it’s important to figure out who your target audience already gives their attention to, and just go there.

Which begs the question, both for me and for you…

Where’s my target audience?

An easy place to start is with influencers in your space, and is the reason I started building influencer lists in the advisor space.

Who already has attention, who’s gaining followers (attention), and who are the up-and-comers?
