Weekly - Top 10 to Watch

1/29 - 2/5: Josh Brown adds 382 followers, Beatriz Dueck leads % growth with 25%

Happy Monday!

Alex Hormozi says marketing is the process of making known. Someone that didn’t know about you, now knows about you.

That’s successful marketing.

Sales is the process of someone that knows about you becoming a client.

→ Lead (someone that doesn’t know about you)
→ Prospect (someone that knows about you and has expressed some sort of interest)
→ Client (someone paying you)

So what does “LinkedIn Followers” have to do with either of these? When someone connects with you or follows you, they now know about you. So when you grow your LinkedIn Following, you’re also growing the pool of prospects that may buy from you someday.

So you could think about these weekly lists as who did the best marketing last week. It’s a lagging indicator…

So should you focus on growing your followers? Maybe, but even better, focus on doing better marketing.

So a challenge this week - write a LinkedIn post telling the world exactly what you do, for who, and how it helps them. Send me the URL ([email protected]) once you’ve posted it, and I’ll track them and do some analytics on the posts to see what we can learn.

So let’s get started! This is from 1/29/24 through today:

Lack of consistency in communicating with clients is the #1 thing that leads to churn.

And the answer is - you need a system.

---> 🎂 What if there was an automatic way to keep track of all important client life events (events where you could be offering advice), and...

✅ ...be reminded about those events along with content to use when reaching out to your prospects/clients?

So, remember...

  1. You need to regularly communicate with clients

  2. You need a system to make it happen automatically
