Happy Monday!

How’s 2024 going so far for you? Two themes seem to keep popping up for me:

Focus
Audience-building

There’s only one thing better: “Focused audience-building”. The folks listed below are the best at it.

What have I learned from them?

Consistency (posts, newsletters, podcasts, they have a rhythm, and they stick to it, even time of day they post)
Have a point of view (Josh Brown is great at this, a way of saying things only Josh Brown does)
Boldness (Zael has been attacking the big banks in Canada)
Authenticity (I’m intrigued at Morgan Housel’s writing process, he writes when he feels like it, different than the write-for-an-hour-a-day-no-matter-what folks)
